Executive Director, Indigenous Strategies and Partnerships

Lise Haddock joined the Representative’s Office in 2015 as Acting Director of the former Aboriginal Initiatives program area. She was formally named Executive Director of RCY’s Indigenous Strategies and Partnerships team in February 2017. 

Lise has a strong background in Indigenous child welfare. For over 25 years, she was the Executive Director of a Delegated Aboriginal Agency and active in many areas of Indigenous child welfare initiatives both provincially and nationally.

Following that, Lise worked as a Project Manager with the Provincial Health Services Authority, where she oversaw the development, delivery and implementation of online Indigenous cultural competency training in the areas of child welfare and justice. She also established a consultancy, providing advice to Indigenous communities and child welfare agencies in the areas of Indigenous child and family supports, case management models, organizational development, program evaluation, strategic planning, and leadership development.

Lise is Métis and is originally from Manitoba. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Victoria with a specialization in Aboriginal Child Welfare.
