Territorial Acknowledgement

The Representative and staff across the province wish to acknowledge, with deep respect and gratitude, that we live and work on the traditional territories of the First Nations Peoples of British Columbia. We specifically recognize and extend our appreciation to the Lheidli T’enneh peoples (Prince George) and the lək̓ʷəŋən (Lekwungen) peoples of the Songhees and Xʷsepsəm (Kosapsum) Nations (Victoria), whose lands host our offices. We also acknowledge and honour the Métis and Inuit partners and friends who reside in these beautiful territories.
